-
In this present work, a theoretical study on design optimization of metamterial absorber in the frequency ranges 80 GHz to 220 GHz is carried out using CST microwave studio considering high temperature sustainable components materials viz. Alumina, Tungsten, tantalum and molybdenum. Meta-material unit cell structure is made up of coaxial dual ring shape of variable radius and characterized for scattering parameters in the required frequencyranges. Apromisingsimulatedreturn loss value ~-30dB is observed for the different designs and the values can be tuned by varying the dimension of the ring size as well as varying the dielectric materials properties.
Key words: Metamaterial, High temperature, EMI shielding, Transmission line theory.
